I have carried research work in the following areas: Extracellular amylase production by Rhizopus sp.; Lipase production of by Sporothrix schenckii var. schenckii; Production, characterization and immobilization of tannin acyl hydrolase by Aspergillus tamarii and its general properties; Isolation of tyrosinases from five deepsea Rhodococcus species; Evaluation of microbial contamination of surfaces including but not limited to currency counting machines and counting room environment in commercial banks, computer keyboards and mice in business centres in a university environment, tools and equipment used in baber shops, hairdressing and beauty salons etc; Superficial fungal infections in primary schools; Microbial contamination of some food items sold in local markets among others.
