My research interest is within the scope of Environmental Microbiology with special interest in biocatalysis; biodegradation of environmental contaminants, and public health implications of presence of microorganisms in the environment. In the course of my research experience I have acquired skills in microbial enzyme extraction and purification employing dialysis, chromatographic techniques and PAGE, activity assay employing spectrophotometric techniques, immobilization techniques, etc.
