Reviewer (2013- Date),  Offer professional review of academic papers for reputable journals like Energy conversion and Management (ECM) and  Nigerian Journal of Technology (NIJOTECH).

Lecturer II (2011-Date), University of Nigeria, Nsukka Demonstrate the working principles of an HVAC system using a refrigeration and air condition simulator, Teach measurement and Instrumentation, heat and mass transfer and Mechanical engineering laboratory. Supervise undergraduate student projects

Graduate Assistant (2008-2011), University of Nigeria, Nsukka

Conducted practical’s for undergraduates on; determination of overall heat transfer coefficient of a concentric tube heat exchanger in both parallel and counter flow modes and determination of thermal conductivity ratios of three metals. Graded Exam scripts and worked as an Examination Officer for first and second year students.

MSc Research Thesis ( 2011),Cranfield University, UK

Worked on “An improved Mathematical Model of an Air Vessel” Assessed the relevance of different heat flux processes to and from the vessel, suggested a modified Rational Heat Transfer (RHT) model based on modified average heat outflow rates to describe the typical transient behaviour of an enclosed air in an air vessel— used for pressure surge mitigation in water pipelines.

B.Eng. Project (2006), University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Reactivated a Toyota diesel engine powered forklift machine, prepared the maintenance manual and documented the plant history under the supervision of Prof.S.O Enibe.

Call for Articles

Manuscripts are now being received for the next edition of the Nigerian Journal of Social Sciences (NJSS), journal of the University of Nigeria’s Faculty of the Social Sciences, that has entered its second decade of continuous publishing. Well written and original articles that have not been previously published nor are currently being considered for publication elsewhere are invited to be considered for publication. Contributions are welcome in forms of research reports, formulation of theories, critiques of extant ones, application of the principles in the affected disciplines to current social needs, reviews or critiques of books and other applicable intellectual productions.  We consider manuscripts from all social-science disciplines and related fields.  Articles must be written in English using the latest APA referencing protocol. They should be typed double-spaced on A4 paper and not exceed 20 pages including illustrations, notes and references.

Please take the following into account in preparing your manuscript.
•    The font to be used throughout is Times New Roman.
•    Use 14 point bold for the title but do not underscore.
•    Use 12 point bold for the subtitles but do not underscore.
•    Use 12 point light for the main text.
•    Flush all sub-titles to the left and number them, e.g. 1.0 Introduction, 2.0 Flood Theory, 2.1 Flood Theory and the Nigerian Case, as the case may be.
•    Use the British spelling, except where expressly not applicable for technical reasons. You may use the latest edition of the Oxford advanced learner’s dictionary as guide.
•    Italicise all non-English words.
•    Use the current APA (Harvard) citation format for all in-text and end-of-text citations.
•    Ask the editor through pitjazi@yahoo.com if you need any clarification on any of these or other matters concerning this process.

After due peer reviews, authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication will be required to submit final versions in both hard and soft copies.  After peer reviews, authors whose manuscripts are finally accepted for publication will be required to include N15, 000 in bank draft drawn in favour of Nigerian Journal of Social Sciences, account number 1011406968, Zenith Bank Plc.
